Changi Hospital

Changi Hospital is a former general hospital in Changi, Singapore, left empty since December 1997, when its operations wound down and merged into the newly formed Changi General Hospital, which relocated to nearby Simei. Nearly three decades later the derelict wards remain sealed off and officially closed to the public. Locals and urban explorers regard it as one of Singapore's most notorious haunted sites, describing unexplained noises, sudden cold spots, and shadows glimpsed through the shattered windows of the abandoned corridors. No formal investigation has verified these claims, but the building's reputation has made it a fixture of local ghost lore and a persistent draw for trespassers despite the ban on entry.
